Spring Championship Crowns a Winner!

The Spring Championship just wrapped up today, and it was a blast. I had one of the best seats in the house, being in the booth with Cedric for half of the show. First off, I want congratulate all of the Top 8 - they played excellently all weekend, and were rewarded by one of the biggest announcements this weekend - Worlds will be in The Bahamas this December!
Top 8 After Day One
After six rounds of competition, here was our Top 8 heading into Sunday:

All eight of them will be heading to The Bahamas in December, and made it to the Sunday stage to play for the $5,000 prize pool.
Crowing Our Spring Champion
After six intense rounds, it was AaronGertler who ended up on top, using a Tree / Pumpkin comp to achieve victory! You can watch the VODS on the Twitch, and see exactly how he snagged first place.
It was a great weekend of coverage and battling, and we'd like to thank the TOs, the coverage team, all the competitors, and especially everyone who tuned in on Twitch and made the vibe awesome. We will see you next time, with the next SBB Monthly coming up on April 23rd!
