2022 Organized Play Announcement

Hi everyone! We are very exited to share with you our plans for tournament play in 2022.

Similar to qualifying the past few months, hitting Mythic rank in a given month will earn you a slot in the next month’s SBBMonthly season qualifier. Every few months we’ll run a Seasonal Championship. Those Seasonal Championships will feed our World Championship, which will lead to us crowning a World Champion! We’ll put out more details as the year progresses.

Here’s the breakdown of events:

Spring Season

• December 18, 2021: SBBMonthly
• January 2022: SBBMonthly
• February 2022: SBBMonthly
• March 2022: Spring Championship

Summer Season

• April 2022: SBBMonthly
• May 2022: SBBMonthly
• June 2022: SBBMonthly
• July 2022: Summer Championship

Fall Season

• July 30-31, 2022: SBBMonthly
• August 27-28, 2022: SBBMonthly
• September 17-18, 2022: SBBMonthly
• October 22-23, 2022: SBBMonthly
• November 5-6, 2022: Fall Championship

World Championship

• December 2022: World Championship

Note: we orginially planned to not run SBBMonthlies during Championship months, but changed that policy starting with the Fall Season's July SBBMonthly. Because there was no SBBMonthly in March, the April SBBMonthly was open for Mythic-ranked from both Febuary and March.

For seasonal SBBMonthlies, we are changing our Day Two cut to be based on hitting a specific Day One point threshold (set per event), instead of based on finishing with a top placement.
