24 players battle it out for $5k and the title of Champion!
Welcome to our Fall Championships announcement! We'll break down the format, timing, players and stakes for our Fall Champs playing on Nov 20-21.

Format and Rules
All 24 players will play 6 rounds of randomly paired games. At the end of 6 rounds, the top 8 players will move on to play Sunday.
Day One
Day One will begin at 10am PST on Saturday, March 26 and will consist of 6 rounds of standard SBB scoring for all 32 players. After six rounds of competition, the Top 8 competitors will be invited back for Day Two.

Tiebreakers for points
The tiebreakers for placement in the #SBBChamps will follow top-to-bottom as such:
- Highest Finish, Second Highest Finish and so on up to Fifth Highest Finish.
- Random
Day Two
Day two will feature the ‘top 8 race’ format. The Championship race has a higher threshold than the Qualifiers, where players will need 25 points to be ‘live’ (using the per game point structure above) before they are eligible to win the tournament by winning a lobby. Once a champion is crowned, the remaining players will finish based on their point totals using the above tiebreakers.
Top 8
The Top 8 will begin at 10am PST on Sunday, March 27 and will consist of a Top 8 Race format. The Championship race has a higher threshold than the #SBBMonthly. Here players will need 25 points to be ‘live’ before they are eligible to win the tournament by winning a lobby. Once a champion is crowned, the remaining players will finish based on their point totals using the above tiebreakers.
Coverage
The Fall Championship will have coverage at the SBB Twitch. Coverage will include LSV, Parney, ThePlaceMatt, and Matt Nass. There will be coverage both days (Nov 20-21).
